In my first game I got to a point of moving to my next office with 0 money.

I followed these tips 2nd time around and it helped out alot. Once I got to the Playstatus I was good to go on my own.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/610758-game-dev-story/56804318

I also avoided moving the 2nd time until I had abou 20 million in the bank.

Between games I do contract work whilst my other game sells, normally whilst the game is selling, I have done one bit of contract and on to the next game title being developed.

Also these consoles and genre's match real life.

I made a few PC games and then when with the Exodus. I then hung on to that till the Snes was in. I stuck with that till the Playstation. I avoided all other consoles.

Things like adventure > Ninja work. Racing and animals. Shooters and dungeons.

Will post pics of my games so you can see my travels of game success. Its also fun to name the games Very Happy

Sometimes, one of my staff will come up to me and ask if they could improve something in my game, (graphics, fun, creativity or sound). I also say no but 1 time I said yes and he gave me a load of bugs. Should I say yes more often?

depends on the % outcome. If they are higher than 59 and have a good high number against what they say. (graphics, sounds etc) then do it. The worse that will come is you lose a bit of money, but when they get rid of the bugs you will get that in research discs.

Also only level your guys up to 3 in the first office, 4 in the second. Otherwise your wasting money. Attenate between your people and out sourcing work. Otherwise they moan about doing it again.

Oh dear. After 20 years in the game, the game will end. You can still play but I don't think your scores will not count. I don't think you can get award ceromonys or anything like that. I will need to start a new game and I don't want to do that. Mad

How long do you have to play before you can start your own shaving blog and start arguing with CrispinG?
