Should we have separate forum for movie talk?

Subject: Should we have separate forum for movie talk? Fri Mar 02, 2012 5:17 am

As the title suggests, should we have a separate forum for movie and film chatter?
Film talk was quite big before and I felt it kinda looked untidy amongst other waffle on the Off Topic.
I am hoping to make film chat a bigger part of the forum so am looking for opinions, thanks.

I will say yes but if we have to have a trailers thread can it be kept to links only? The old one was a nightmare with all the embedded videos. Alternatively only post trailers for movies worth talking about and making a thread for which to do so in for each film.

We can maintain the trailers thread so it's only got current trailers maybe?

A separate forum for only movie talk would mean that a new thread for each film/trailer would be more practical.

Agreed. I feel the trailers embeded saves people haveing to go off site. Its why I went through the extra effort of finding decent copies on youtube to post here rather link Apple or another websites trailer link.

I vote "Yes", but in all honesty, I'm pretty indifferent to the whole thing.

Well the die-hards have spoken and The SWGP forum now has it's own dedicated forum for movies and film talk. Think tv program talk needs to stay in Off Topic though.

Keep an eye out for the movie club in that forum too, which I will be hosting... Details soon.
